Local Dubai legislation applied to all events in Dubai including the RIPE Meeting require additional information regarding attendees:
All attendees are required to supply the following details via the meeting registration form:
- Full name
- Country of residence
- Date of birth
- Mobile phone number
- Email address
This information will be passed on to the DTCM, who will use it to create barcodes to be displayed on attendee meeting badges. As an attendee, you need to wear your badge at all times throughout the meeting, including the social events.
Following requirements from the DTCM, all those who appear on the event agenda as speakers are required to email the RIPE NCC a colour passport copy, along with a personal profile (at least 200 characters). We will then pass these copies to the DTCM and delete what we have received.
If the speaker is resident in the UAE, we also need a copy of their Emirates ID.
